Ephesians 6 vs 10-18:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

This is a great revelation for those who want to learn more about the things of God. As long as we call ourselves true Christians and we want to walk in the ways of God the whole amor of God is a must. It is a uniform we have to put on every day, like we put on our daily clothes. Before you live your house, before you start your day put on the armour of God. Say it out loud in prayer as you put on every piece. This will protect you from spiritual attacks because like the bible reading says we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but with an organized spiritual army. So we also have to be organized, we have to be organized spiritually so that we can go against the devil. In the verse the pieces of armour are mentioned one by one and the purposes that they serve.
So I'm gonna go through some of them and go through the others next week. The first one is the belt of truth which just means walking in the truth everyday, choosing truth over lies, choosing what the Lord says about you more than anything else. You have to declare it over your life daily that I am a child of God and I'm loved by God, I'm not alone or abandoned, God is right here with me, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me, I am not a failure. You have to say the truth about what God says about you. You have to learn to refuse the lies of the devil. I even like how its says, "tighten the belt of truth " meaning refuse the lies of the devil and stick to the truth, what does God say about you
The second one is the breastplate of righteousness : this when we choose to walk in righteousness, the righteousness of God and not self righteousness. We have to walk and search for the word of God and not our will. It is to do what is right even when it feels uncomfortable. Choose to walk in righteousness every single day.
Then we also have to put on the sandals of the gospel of peace: which means wherever we go we have to be peacemakers. Be a person who lifts up others, be a person that when you get to a place where people are sad you will leave them happy. You will lift up their spirits. Be the light in a dark world. It also means to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever you go. Save souls, bring people to Jesus every chance that you get. When you see people ask them if they have been saved, bring them to Jesus and you will get the reward in heaven.
The forth is the shield of faith: the bible says above all, which means this is the most important one. It means when the devil tries to put you down with fear and doubts which he does everyday you have to send faith to answer. You have to lift up your spirit, the book of Hebrews says faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith is what keeps us going even if we don't see it in the natural, even if we don't feel it in the natural but we know God has promised it, we hold on to that. That's our faith so everytime the devil tries to come and put doubts in us and fears we speak faith. We put on our shield of faith to quench up the feary darts of the evil one.

Prayer: Father thank you for this revelation, for giving these weapons of welfare, help to remember to put on our whole armour each and every day. You desire for us to conquer this world and also for us to conquer salvation. Teach us to walk vigilantly everyday. We bless your name Father, we magnify your holy name, we give you all the praise and all the honor because there is no God like you. In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit. Amen.
